  • Supplier Policies: Refunds are subject to the individual cancellation and refund policies of the respective airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other third-party service providers. Moventrip.com acts as an agent, and while we will assist you, the final refund amount and eligibility are determined by the supplier.
  • Partial vs. Full Refunds: Refunds may be full, partial, or denied entirely based on the supplier’s policy, the type of service, the fare/rate rules, and the timing of the cancellation.
  • Processing Time: While we initiate refunds promptly, the actual crediting of funds to your account is dependent on the processing times of banks and payment gateways, which can take 7 to 30 business days, or sometimes longer, especially for international transactions or complex cases.

2. Eligibility for Refund

Refund eligibility typically depends on:

  • Supplier’s Cancellation Policy: The terms and conditions set by the airline, hotel, or tour operator at the time of booking. Non-refundable fares/rates will not be eligible for a refund.

  3. Calculation & Notification: We will calculate the refund amount based on the supplier’s policy, deducting any applicable penalties, our service charges, and bank processing fees. We will then inform you of the estimated refund amount.
  4. Refund Processing: If you agree to the refund amount, we will proceed with the refund. Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment used for the booking, where possible.
    • Bank Transfers: Refunds will be credited to the bank account from which the payment was originally made.
    • Mobile Banking: Refunds will be sent to the bKash or Nagad account from which the payment was originally made.
    • Cash Payments: Refunds for cash payments will be processed via bank transfer or mobile banking, requiring you to provide your account details.

5. Important Considerations

  • Changes vs. Cancellations: Modifying a booking (e.g., date change, name change) may also incur fees from suppliers and Moventrip.com. These are different from cancellation policies.
  • Promotional Fares/Packages: Special promotional fares, non-refundable rates, or bundled packages often have very strict or no-refund policies.
  • Unused Services: No refunds will be provided for unused portions of tours, flights, or hotel stays unless explicitly stated otherwise by the supplier’s policy or due to specific exceptional circumstances.
  • Currency Fluctuations: For international transactions, the refund amount may vary slightly due to currency exchange rate fluctuations at the time of processing.

6. Force Majeure
